Peaks Island Gastro Society is an underground dining event, typically held monthly, held at the home of former fine-dining chef Jeff Kingman, on Peaks Island Maine.

With a dining room view of five lighthouses and only steps from the Atlantic, events are usually limited to the first eight foodies who sign up. Each event’s menu is published four weeks in advance here on the Savant Culinaire blog (including that event’s suggested financial contribution).

Events will always be on Saturday evenings, starting early, as the last Casco Bay Lines ferry to Portland leaves at 11:55 pm. Island taxi on departure is included.

The intent with Peaks Island Gastro Society is not just to explore good food – it is also to build community – community not afraid to discuss pressing issues of the day over a meal together.
